Description
The Sarasota Sharks SwimAmerica Swim School is hiring a part-time Swim School Instructor to conduct group and private swim lessons for swimmers of all ages and abilities. The role involves teaching according to the SwimAmerica curriculum, attending staff meetings and training, communicating with the Site Supervisor, maintaining attendance and relationships, checking pool conditions, setting up and cleaning lesson equipment, and responding to emergencies. Applicants must complete the ASCA SwimAmerica Online Coaches Course within 30 days of hire, hold or obtain CPR/AED and first-aid certification, be at least 16 years old, and be able to work 3–4-hour shifts in the water.
