Description
The Shaw JCC is hiring a Swim Team Head Coach to lead and organize its youth swim team during the summer season. The role focuses on developing swimmers’ competitive skills, fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, and creating a positive and safe team environment. The coach will work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and lead meets on Saturdays. Required qualifications include American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification, CPR Certification for the Professional Rescuer, and Water Safety Instructor Certification; preferred qualifications include coaching certifications or experience, prior swim coaching or competitive swimming experience, Meet Manager Software proficiency, and strong leadership and communication skills.
