Description
The Swing Driver safely operates one or more solid-waste collection vehicles, including front-end, roll-off, and residential trucks, to collect waste and recyclables, deliver them to landfills, material recovery facilities, or transfer stations, and fill in for routes as needed. The role includes vehicle inspections, route documentation, customer communication, safety compliance, route development, and occasional training or route observations. Applicants need a valid commercial driver's license, at least one year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate, and the ability to safely operate trucks and equipment; a high school diploma or GED is desired. The position requires outdoor work, physical lifting, and work in varying weather and traffic conditions.
