Description
Microsoft is hiring a SWIQ Performance Engineer to improve the efficiency, reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of large-scale telemetry and data platforms. The role involves building services, tools, and automation; investigating storage and compute optimization across Azure Storage, Cosmos, and Blueshift; developing analytics and recommendation tooling; validating improvements with partner teams; and applying AI-assisted engineering practices. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field plus at least two years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience; preferred qualifications include a master's degree, additional experience, and expertise in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, Azure, Kusto, Cosmos, Spark, and data analytics.
