Hamilton Health Sciences is hiring a Switchboard Operator to support its Health Information Technology Services portfolio by answering and processing calls, managing paging and alarm monitoring, supporting emergency code dispatch, and disseminating information to responders during high-volume, high-pressure situations. The role requires a two-year Medical Office Administration program, 45 wpm keyboarding, at least one year of experience in a high-volume call centre or busy medical office, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced hospital environment. The position is available for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
