The Hospital Switchboard Operator provides hospital telecommunication services by operating a telephone console and related equipment, routing internal and external communications, supporting emergency response, maintaining paging and on-call systems, training staff, coordinating workflows, and resolving communication issues. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of experience in the current Access Operations Department, strong verbal communication skills, and basic computer skills.
