Description
Svenska kraftnät is seeking two senior switchgear engineers for a long-term consulting assignment on 220 kV and higher substation projects. The role covers primary-installation design and sizing, preliminary studies, procurement technical requirements, drawing and calculation reviews, sizing verification, contractor meetings, FATs, site visits, and inspections. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical power engineering or equivalent competence, at least 10 years of relevant experience with large switchgear installations, and knowledge of applicable regulations and standards. The assignment is 100% workload, tentatively starting December 1, 2026, in Sundbyberg/Västerås with site visits and up to 80% remote work.
