Description
The Switchgear Estimator will convert customer requirements, one-line diagrams, specifications, and design documents into accurate, competitive, and buildable estimates for low- and medium-voltage switchgear, switchboards, and distribution assemblies. The role covers component identification, BOM development, cost estimation across materials and labor, one-line interpretation, UL compliance, vendor and supply-chain coordination, and database maintenance. It requires strong electrical estimating, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills, with 5+ years of electrical estimating experience preferred, and involves work in office, engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication environments with occasional travel.
