Description
The Special Education Teacher plans and delivers specialized instruction for students with disabilities across inclusive and other educational settings. Responsibilities include individualized instruction, curriculum modification, behavior support, IEP development, parent and multidisciplinary collaboration, student recordkeeping, data collection, crisis intervention, and compliance reporting. The role requires a current Tennessee Special Education or Interventionist teaching license, a bachelor’s degree or higher, and the ability to work in extended-day and inclusive classroom environments.
