Flexsys is hiring an immediate Synthetic Organic Chemist at its Akron corporate headquarters. The role supports business and innovation platforms by designing and synthesizing new molecules at laboratory scale, developing synthetic methodologies, purifying and analyzing reaction products, documenting results, and communicating with project teams and stakeholders. The position reports to a Technology group leader and requires a PhD in organic chemistry or a similar discipline, at least five years of organic synthesis experience, industrial experience, and expertise in NMR, chromatography, and mass spectrometry.
