METR is hiring a SysAdmin to own and optimize technical operations and user support for its research organization. The role manages user access and permissions across Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Tailscale, and AWS; oversees SaaS platforms, onboarding, IT inventory, MDM, documentation, IT security, and troubleshooting; and supports technical teams. The position is hybrid, with the technical team in Berkeley three to five days per week, and may offer cap-exempt H-1B visa sponsorship for candidates without U.S. work authorization.
