Description
The Senior System Administrator will install, configure, administer, secure, sustain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, virtual infrastructure, enterprise applications, and supporting services within the Hill CEDC. The role includes operating-system lifecycle management, virtualization administration, security hardening, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, incident response, change management, documentation, and support for Portable Operating Data Center systems. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least four years of progressively responsible system-administration experience, an active Secret Clearance, and CompTIA Security+ certification; CompTIA Server+, Linux+, Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, and ITIL certifications are preferred. The position is onsite at Hill Air Force Base, Monday through Friday from 0600 to 1800, with possible temporary schedule adjustments and short-notice travel.
