Description
The Linux Systems Administrator provides comprehensive systems administration support for large-scale Linux infrastructure, including HPC environments and IaaS platforms. The role manages installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software; performs Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting; optimizes system operations and capacity; configures operating systems and network components; and maintains security, compliance, and reliability. Required technical skills include Linux CLI and Bash/Python scripting, Red Hat Satellite, VMware ESXi, infrastructure-as-code tools, monitoring platforms, containerization, distributed file systems, and network management.
