Description
Quantiq is hiring a System Administrator to maintain and support its high-frequency derivatives-trading infrastructure, including Fedora Linux servers, desktops, networking hardware, and proprietary and third-party systems. The role covers provisioning, installation, inventory, maintenance, monitoring, backups, failovers, troubleshooting, vendor hardware deployment, and support for Operations and Technical teams, with occasional travel to Austin and Chicago datacenters. Candidates need at least five years of Linux-based administration experience, Bash and Python scripting ability, networking knowledge, and familiarity with technologies such as FreeIPA, OpenLDAP, OpenVPN, DNS, ZFS, and GRUB/PXE.
