Alcon's Refractive Team in Erlangen is seeking a System and Test Engineer for the R&D department. This role involves integrating electronic and mechanical components, performing firmware installation and testing, conducting exploratory and verification tests on laser system prototypes, investigating and analyzing issues, supporting external programmers, collaborating with internal experts, creating and reviewing test specifications, preparing technical documentation, and defining functional requirements for medical devices. The position is limited to 2 years.
