UDC is hiring a full-time System Architect to provide enterprise technology direction and problem-solving expertise for Geographic Information Systems projects. The role leads GIS architecture workshops, designs and documents enterprise solutions, supports implementation and managed-service engagements, advises utility customers on datacenter security and private networks, and provides technical guidance to development, quality assurance, and training teams. Candidates need extensive enterprise system consulting and GIS experience, strong ArcGIS and virtualization expertise, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field. The position offers $115,000-$125,000 annually and may require up to 50% business travel.
