Description
Apple is seeking a student to join its caSystem Validation team and contribute to advanced electro-optical system development for future products. The role involves characterizing, testing, and validating sensing systems from early prototypes through system maturity; designing and analyzing complex laboratory experiments; developing lab automation for product evaluation; and conducting data-driven analysis. Candidates must be able to work on-site for more than 20 hours per week, have a relevant B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering, and possess 2–3 years of hands-on experience with MATLAB and/or Python. A PhD or MSc student with remaining tuition of 2–3 years is preferred, along with experience with optical test equipment, robotics, and lab automation.
