Valeo is hiring a full-time, regular R&D Engineer on an annual contract to develop system functions for power-electronics products such as inverters, on-board chargers, and DC/DC converters. The role covers requirements assessment, system design and analysis, electromagnetic simulation, technical documentation, architecture coordination, stakeholder support, and reviews across software, hardware, and testing. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering, strong power-electronics knowledge, MATLAB/Simulink skills, and at least 1.5 years of relevant experience; a master’s degree in power electronics, motor control, or control theory is a plus.
