Description
Amazon is hiring a System Development Engineer to build and operate AI agents and platform services for Reflex, an agentic incident management system for Amazon's fulfillment network. The role designs and delivers agents on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore that triage high-severity incidents, scribe live bridge calls, draft communications, and automate documentation and reporting; owns features end to end; builds evaluation, monitoring, alerting, and access-control foundations; integrates with ticketing, chat, telemetry, and detection feeds; and periodically joins live incident calls as an Incident Manager. The position requires at least three years of professional software development experience, system design experience, large-scale infrastructure experience, Linux/Unix experience, programming experience, and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. The role is based in Nashville, Tennessee, or Arlington, Virginia, with annual base salaries of $122,800–$166,100 or $129,200–$174,800 respectively.
