Description
AWS is hiring a System Development Engineer to support AWS Cryptography and PKI Services. The role designs, deploys, monitors, and automates infrastructure, tools, and systems to provide a highly available and resilient platform for customer and team workloads. Responsibilities include on-call support and root-cause resolution, with a requirement for an active TS/SCI security clearance and, after start, an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency. The position requires a bachelor's degree or CSSLP, at least two years of professional software development experience, system design or architecture experience, programming experience with a modern language, and a current active US Government security clearance of Top Secret or above. The role is based in Arlington or Herndon, Virginia, with a base salary of $129,200 to $174,800 annually.
