Amazon Robotics is hiring a System Development Engineer for its Solution Performance & Automation team in Robotics Technical Services. The role builds and operates production monitoring services, telemetry evaluation, closed-loop automation, incident workflows, diagnostics tooling, and operational documentation for robotics solutions. The engineer will own the full lifecycle of these systems, collaborate with field, data, product, and solution engineering teams, and improve signal quality, alert precision, and operational resilience. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, programming experience, large-scale infrastructure automation, Linux/Unix, version control, CI/CD, and at least four years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience. The role is based in North Reading, Massachusetts, with a base salary of $129,200 to $174,800 annually.
