AWS is hiring a System Development Engineer to design software tools using advanced automation methods such as Agentic AI, automate manual work, develop and maintain production software pipelines, establish coding and operational best practices, and mentor engineers. The role requires experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure; designing or architecting systems; a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent; and at least four years of experience building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of $129,200 to $174,800 annually.
