Amazon Robotics is hiring a System Development Engineer for its Imperium Network Device Lifecycle Management team in Austin, Texas. The role develops scalable, OS-agnostic software frameworks and tools for provisioning, software updates, and lifecycle management of network devices across Amazon fulfillment centers. Responsibilities include technical design, architecture, coding, automation, deployment, and collaboration with software, system, network, and network engineering teams. The position requires at least two years of professional software development experience, experience with modern programming languages and large-scale infrastructure, CI/CD experience, and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. AWS, distributed systems, networking, storage, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering experience are preferred. The base salary is $129,200 to $174,800 USD annually, with sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
