AWS is hiring a System Development Engineer to build, operate, monitor, and improve software services and platforms that support the AWS network within a region. The role owns service deployments, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, automation, monitoring, and full-stack development of in-house tools, while collaborating with global service teams. It requires experience with large-scale infrastructure, modern programming languages, Linux/Unix, and CI/CD pipelines, with distributed systems experience preferred. The position is based in Sydney or Melbourne and offers relocation support.
