AWS is hiring a System Development Engineer for its PCIe and Signal Integrity team within the Core Components Organization. The role focuses on next-generation high-speed server hardware and software, including PCIe topology, retimer and switch firmware, high-throughput interface design, fleet performance tracking, firmware qualification, system validation, debugging, and telemetry improvement. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development and systems design experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and experience with hardware/firmware/software troubleshooting and functional and performance testing. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of $129,200 to $174,800 annually.
