Description
Amazon Leo is hiring a System Development Engineer (SysDE II) to develop automated visual inspection systems and production test software for satellite manufacturing. The role combines machine vision, image processing, PLC and sensor integration, test automation, calibration, monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. It requires hands-on experience with machine vision or automated inspection, programming in a modern language, Linux/Unix, and infrastructure experience, along with a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, requires five days in person per week, and includes on-call and weekend rotations.
