Description
The Systems Engineer will configure, manage, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems; install and maintain OS software; configure network components; and improve system reliability and performance. The role requires extensive VMware experience, modern automation or configuration tools such as Splunk or Ansible, and experience planning and leading systems engineering efforts. Responsibilities include supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, managing infrastructure and related processes, providing day-to-day operations and problem-resolution support for client/server/storage/network and mobile devices, resolving dispatch-system and hardware issues, and optimizing system operations, resource utilization, and capacity planning.
