Description
TEKsystems is hiring a Server Infrastructure Consultant for a contract, fully onsite role in Wichita, Kansas. The consultant will identify aging, inactive, unsupported, or unnecessary virtual and physical server infrastructure; validate system requirements with application, business, and technical owners; safely coordinate decommissioning; maintain inventory and disposition records; and manage the remediation project through discovery, risks, milestones, and stakeholder reporting. The role requires hands-on VMware ESXi, Windows, and Linux server administration, along with experience in virtual machine lifecycle management, migrations, decommissioning, and infrastructure remediation. The contract pays $40.00–$65.00 per hour and is anticipated to close on October 2, 2026.
