The System Engineer (Application Management) supports the stable operation and development of business-critical applications on Windows and/or Linux servers. Responsibilities include application monitoring, logging, SLA compliance, incident analysis, solution development, documentation, and automation with PowerShell or Bash. The role also brings initial experience with databases, web servers, and load balancers into customer projects. Candidates should have application-management experience, knowledge of relevant server, database, web-server, and load-balancer technologies, scripting ability, stakeholder communication skills, and very good German. The position is available full-time or part-time, remotely or in the office, and may require a confidential security clearance after an offer.
