Description
Quvia is looking for a System Engineer with a strong networking background to join their team in Miramar, FL. The successful candidate will collaborate with software developers, QA, support, and operations to ensure robust, efficient, and secure systems. Key responsibilities include working with networking technologies like switching, routing, subnetting, and transport layer protocols, as well as familiarity with AWS cloud services for VPC networking and site-to-site VPNs. Hands-on expertise with hypervisors such as ESXi, KVM, and Proxmox, along with a deep understanding of computer hardware and operating systems, is crucial. Experience with Linux, Bash, and Python scripting is highly desired. The role also involves creating and updating technical documentation and requiring occasional travel to customer sites and Quvia's Points of Presence due to the nature of the work.
