Description
The System Engineer III, Firewalls supports MUSC’s academic, research, and healthcare missions by administering and troubleshooting firewalls and related network security technologies. The role includes VPN configuration, routing, IP address management, network segmentation, SDWAN, SSO, certificate management, documentation, project leadership, knowledge transfer, and customer service. It requires a bachelor’s degree with five years of directly related experience, or a high school diploma with nine years, or a master’s degree with three years; seven or more years of network experience is preferred.
