The role is responsible for the stable and secure operation of Microsoft SQL Server environments for customers, including incident and service-request handling, production troubleshooting, performance and availability optimization, security, backup and restore, monitoring, patching, upgrades, migrations, and project participation. It requires relevant IT education or training, several years of SQL Server operations and administration experience, and knowledge of performance analysis, backups, monitoring, security, and user-management.
