Open Systems is hiring an entry-level System Engineer for its Secure Fleet Platform, working 80–100% in Zurich or Bern. The role supports the redesign of secure management-access architecture and the modernisation of connectivity for a production fleet of approximately 10,000 Linux-based systems. Responsibilities include secure access, authentication and authorisation, networking, automation, observability, configuration, software lifecycle management, and the operation of platform services such as Nginx, Redis, and time synchronisation. The position requires Linux, networking, secure-access, scripting, Git, CI/CD, and agentic-development experience, with relevant technical education or equivalent practical experience.
