Description

BRIGHT Consulting is seeking an experienced System Engineer / Security Manager to join their team in Hamburg. The role involves coordinating technical aspects of information security within naval shipbuilding, developing requirements for subsystems, creating test documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The manager will conduct threat and risk analyses, lead IT security working groups, and ensure compliance with emissions security requirements.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Professional experience in the field of information security.
Experience with naval vessels or in a comparable environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of network topologies, storage/server clouds, virtualization (e.g., VMware), as well as information security in the network domain (e.g., firewall, CDM, packet diodes).
Familiarity with the application of the BSI IT baseline protection framework (IT Grundschutz) and BSI standards.
Experience in engineering complex systems according to international standards (V-Model) and in handling project execution.
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, as well as routine handling of common MS Office programs.
Knowledge of software products such as DOORS Next Generation and/or Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
