AttoTude is hiring a System Hardware Engineer to support the development and product realization of terahertz modems for intra-DCI applications. The role owns a modem characterization testbed, performs component and system-level measurements, metrology, calibration, stabilization, and signal-processing analysis, and provides rapid feedback to hardware and design teams. The engineer will also help develop performance-optimization algorithms and transition gains to volume production. The position requires a PhD in Electrical Engineering or Applied Physics, extensive experience with coherent modulation and high-speed RF and mm-wave systems, and programming experience in languages such as Python, Matlab, C/C++, or C-sharp. It is based in Menlo Park, California, requires on-site work, and offers an annual salary of $150,000 to $250,000 USD.
