Description

Anduril Industries is hiring a System Integration and Test Engineer for its Space Manufacturing team to lead system integration and test campaigns, develop test plans and procedures, coordinate resources and facilities, conduct flight-hardware readiness reviews, and perform unit-level and system-level hardware and software testing. The role also covers manufacturing and assembly processes, root-cause analysis, test equipment and fixtures, and cross-functional coordination. It requires extensive aerospace or high-reliability experience, a technical degree, cleanroom and flight-hardware work, and on-site availability in Costa Mesa, California, with travel to test and supplier sites.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another technical discipline
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in aerospace, aviation, military, or other high-reliability industries
2+ years of hands-on integration and test of flight or comparably high-reliability hardware
3+ years of hands-on experience in unit-level, space-vehicle, or system integration, assembly, and environmental testing
Direct involvement in at least two of vibration, thermal vacuum, acoustic, shock, or EMI/EMC testing
Hands-on integration or test experience with EO/IR or comparable sensor and payload systems
3+ years of practical, hands-on experience using test equipment
2+ years working with MES, ERP, and/or MRP systems
2+ years applying manufacturing process controls, quality assurance, and continuous-improvement methodologies
Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams
Support of a full spacecraft integration-and-test campaign
2+ years working on satellite, spacecraft, launch vehicle, or related technologies
Proficiency with CAD or 3D-modeling software for tooling design
Experience in ISO 7 or cleaner cleanrooms or contamination-controlled environments
Experience assembling electro-optical instruments
Familiarity with JIRA, NX design, and Python
Eligibility for an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
