Description
The System Integration Engineer will support NSLS-II beamline programs by translating scientific and operational requirements into deployed data acquisition, data access, and data analysis solutions. The role integrates, configures, deploys, tests, troubleshoots, and supports DAD software, services, and infrastructure across beamline environments, collaborating with scientists, software engineers, detector and controls experts, and data specialists. It requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, foundational software development or scripting experience, Linux/Unix familiarity, and systematic troubleshooting skills; experience with scientific data acquisition, Python, distributed computing, and related technologies is preferred. The position is on-site, does not offer visa sponsorship, and pays $71,600 to $100,000 per year.
