Applied Research Solutions is hiring a full-time System Interoperability and Integration Engineer SME at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas. The role leads the architecture, integration, and continuous evolution of a Big Bang platform and its AWS-based infrastructure, with primary Kubernetes orchestration through Helm and DevSecOps practices. Responsibilities include translating mission requirements into technical designs, managing Kubernetes clusters and Helm charts, establishing automated metrics and delivery pipelines, improving continuous testing and developer workflows, coaching teams, and supporting CD pipelines for legacy systems. The position requires U.S. citizenship, Secret Clearance eligibility, an active DoD 8570 IAT or IAM certification, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, seven years of interoperability and integration engineering experience, and five or more years of DevOps and continuous delivery experience.
