Description
Lenovo is hiring two full-time System Lead Engineers to lead the design and development of Qira, a cross-device personal AI intelligence platform. The Ambient Intelligence lead will focus on always-on systems that understand user context across devices and environments, while the Device & Application Intelligence lead will develop AI-powered systems that understand and automate device and application usage patterns. Both roles set roadmaps and technical standards, lead and mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, manage delivery and interfaces, and represent the teams in architecture, security, and launch reviews. The positions are onsite in Chicago, Illinois, or San Jose, California, and require at least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, 2 years leading multi-engineer delivery, and experience with cross-platform systems, shared cores, and at least two of the listed systems or always-on workloads.
