Description
Training-level System Operator role at JEA responsible for assisting with operational planning, monitoring, coordinating, and operating the transmission and distribution system and balancing area to maintain reliability and comply with corporate, tariff, and regulatory requirements. The position involves system dispatch, market coordination, switching, outage coordination, load and generation balancing, emergency procedures, incident management, data record maintenance, and use of an Energy Management System and related hardware/software at JEA's System Operations Control Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
