Description
The System Operator is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the transmission and distribution system under various conditions, adhering to UEC, RUS, and NERC/WECC reliability standards. The role involves promoting safety, developing operating procedures, and coordinating closely with Operations Superintendents to ensure clear communication and effective teamwork during normal operations, emergencies, and outages. This position requires managing processes and relationships with the outage call center vendor and involves extensive use of system monitoring devices and outage management software.
