Description

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions is hiring a System Optimization Department Manager to lead quality-control standards, commissioning, system optimization specialists, and field engineering and TAB operations. The role owns departmental performance, technical quality, people leadership, budgets, staffing, KPIs, financial results, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance, while supporting warranty reporting and the development of quality-control processes. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 5–10 years of project management or operational leadership experience, mechanical-systems expertise, and experience with BMS interfaces and industry software. It is based at the Seattle Pre-Fab Shop and offers a base salary of $142,000–$175,000 annually plus a company-provided vehicle and employee benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, management science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Previous Experiences: 5–10 years of project management or operational leadership experience, including leading mid-sized teams
Experience leading teams and building a strong company culture
Experience with building management and automation systems, including BMS interfaces
Experience with Microsoft 365, Procore, and other common industry software
