Apple is hiring a System Performance Engineer for its System Performance Architecture group and Workflow Engineering team. The role focuses on analyzing and optimizing the performance of Mac and iPad systems across software APIs, hardware, operating-system drivers, applications, power, thermal, and acoustic characteristics. The engineer will present performance findings to executive leaders and curate representative workloads for customers, including content creators, gamers, developers, and everyday consumers. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, at least two years of system-architecture performance analysis experience, hands-on performance measurement and optimization experience, power and thermal management experience, and proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
