Qualcomm India Private Limited is hiring a Systems Engineer for its Engineering Group in Bangalore. The role focuses on power and performance validation, workload analysis, rail-level power measurements, post-silicon validation, debugging, and root-cause analysis of CPU, GPU, AI/ML, and system-level workloads. Candidates should have 3–6 years of power architecture or related experience, a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in engineering or a related field, and familiarity with SoC power management, ARM architecture, Linux/Android, Python automation, and lab instrumentation.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field, with the specified years of Systems Engineering or related experience.
Required Previous Experiences: 3–6 years of System Power and Performance Validation/Analysis experience in mobile, compute, IoT, automotive, or consumer electronics domains.
2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of SoC power and performance concepts, workload behavior, and performance-per-watt analysis.
Hands-on experience analyzing CPU, GPU, AI/ML, and system-level workloads with benchmarks and profiling tools.
Familiarity with SoC power states, low-power modes, DVFS, thermal management, and power management features.
Experience measuring CPU, memory, infrastructure, and platform power consumption rail-by-rail.
Experience with NI DAQ, oscilloscopes, DMMs, current probes, and bench power supplies.
Understanding of PMICs, power rails, BUCK/LDO regulators, power delivery networks, and battery-powered systems.
Experience with power KPI collection, use-case power measurements, standby/idle power analysis, and low-power validation.
Exposure to post-silicon validation, board bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
Familiarity with JTAG, CPU profilers, and ARM Developer Studio or equivalent debug and profiling tools.
Understanding of ARM processor architecture, memory hierarchy, cache concepts, and system performance bottlenecks.
Working knowledge of Linux/Android environments, ADB, shell scripting, and Python-based automation.
Experience collecting and analyzing logs, traces, and performance data to identify power and performance issues.
