Description
Apple is hiring a Product Design Engineer to design tight-tolerance components for prototype systems, develop test infrastructure, and characterize components and assembly processes. The role requires at least three years of mechanical design and consumer electronics experience, knowledge of engineering fundamentals and tight-tolerance fabrication, and experience with DFM, DFA, and statistical tolerance analysis. Preferred qualifications include Siemens NX proficiency, metrology, FAI data interpretation, custom PCB/FPC work, parts ownership, and vendor engagement.
