Description

Blue Origin is hiring a mid-level System Safety Engineer to support New Glenn orbital launch vehicle development and operations. The role sits within the system safety, reliability, and risk team and leads risk management projects, evaluates system risks and compliance with safety standards, develops and maintains safety and risk processes, supports requirements traceability and systems analyses, coaches engineers, and reports program health metrics. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in aerospace, electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related field; at least five years of aerospace engineering experience; strong system safety, risk, and mission assurance fundamentals; and eligibility under U.S. export-control requirements.
