Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a D5LE2 System Safety Engineering Lead for the Fleet Ballistic Missile program. The role leads system safety analysis development, presents safety assessment strategies and status to the customer and major program milestone reviews, performs system and subsystem safety in accordance with MIL-STD-882E, and collaborates with integrated product teams to foster a safety culture. The position requires engineering development lifecycle experience, requirements derivation and verification experience, contractual requirements experience, and preferably a BS in Engineering or Computer Science, system safety expertise, software safety experience, and an active Top Secret clearance. The full-time salary range is $118,000 to $219,100, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, retirement matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
