Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Systems Software Engineer for its Systems Software Team to develop, debug, and maintain systems software on the compute plane of an enterprise supercomputing platform. The role focuses on Linux and OS-level troubleshooting, Jira-driven production and integration issues, build and packaging tooling, automation and orchestration, security remediation, and engineering standards. It requires a computer science or related degree, at least 8 years of systems software experience, strong C and Python skills, and experience with Linux, OS or filesystem development, DevOps, orchestration, version control, testing, and Agile methodologies. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of working approximately two days per week from an HPE office.
