Description
Apple is hiring a System Software Engineer to architect, build, and maintain system software for current and next-generation system-level test and automated test equipment (ATE) used in silicon validation. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with hardware and software teams, developing application and hardware abstraction layers, drivers, test programs, silicon characterization algorithms, diagnostics, performance tools, and infrastructure for automated software testing at scale. A bachelor's degree is required, while systems software experience, C/C++/C# and Python skills, complex software architecture, cross-platform development, network knowledge, project management, ATE experience, SEMI standards, and machine learning or SQL experience are preferred.
