Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an onsite System Software Engineer – L2/L3 Packet Forwarding to design and develop high-performance software for Aruba enterprise WLAN Controller platforms. The role focuses on building and enhancing forwarding-plane and datapath infrastructure, working across Linux systems, embedded software, networking protocols, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems, and debugging performance and scalability issues. Candidates need 3–8 years of experience in systems, networking, embedded, infrastructure, or cloud software development, with strong C/C++, Linux systems programming, networking, and debugging expertise.
